Achievement repair and gear is here to help the trail and ultra running community achieve their goals with custom sewing. We repair, alter and customize running clothes and gear. We understand the unique needs of the ultra runner and we focus on sustainability.
- Though I have been running and sewing for years, Achievement Repair and Gear is just getting started in 2026. We are in the process of building our site and our business. We are based in the Carmichael / Fair Oaks area of Northern California, but we provide personalized service to the trail runners from Sacramento to Auburn California.

- Please head to our Products or Services pages for information on what we are working on now, this is being updated frequently as things are starting to be put in motion. Right now I am collaborating with Heidi Garner to make regular gaiters and zipper gaiters with her custom artwork. But I specialize in repairs and alterations to your existing gear and custom projects. Repairing zippers, holes and adding secure storage, such as adding zipper pockets, are my specialties. Please reach out so we can fix your gear.

Events Calendar
- The Events link is my calendar where I know I will be on the trail. These are aid stations, expos, or meet up groups that I will be attending. These group events are a way to introduce ourselves, and an informal way to start the conversation about what I can do for you. Consultations are free, if I can walk you through doing your own repair that’s empowering to both of us! If I’m volunteering, the runners come first, so make an appointment so we can meet before or after my shift and I can devote my full attention to your project.

- I’ve separated the Blog into three categories: Sustainability – will have environmental and up-cycling topics; Related to fibers – textiles and laundry topics will go here; and The Process – will be about building the business, the website, and more. It’s all organized on the Blog Hub page. Each blog contains short reads on topics I find interesting. More content will be added as I get time.
